Family & Friends Blue & Gold Prom Banquet
Family & Friends of NWI prom was a great success, We had over 150 people in attendance, The King & Queen For 2012, 2013, & 2014 and 2015 was awarded a photo-shoot and a limosine ride to the prom for their countinued support for family and friends, The night was filled with great entertainment, awards cermoney and lots of dancing and people having fun. April 1 2015 is the Kickoff to Family And Friends Yearly Food and Clothing Drive. Our collections are divided into 2 agencies. We help Pacific Garden Mission In Chicago IL& The Woman Shelter in Indiana. We are in dyer need of can food, Coats, clothing for kids and adults, Toys, blankets, Shoe and Boots For Kids. Computer Class program: This program will helps disabled people of all ages learn how to use computers. A professional computer instructor will provide the lessons in a group setting twice a month, which allows participates learn how to use a computer for their basic computing needs like creating a resume or typing up a word document. The skills taught in this program will help participants to be able to get a job and perform other computer related tasks they might need in the workplace or at school. Instructions will be gearned toward computer usages catered toward each participants' disability. the program is expected to start in late 2014..
Family And Friedns will be Hosting a Feed The Needy Fundrasiser with the Assistance Of Innonence Kids Inc, on June 20th 2015 @ The Jean Shephard Community Center in Hammond Indiana. From 12pm to 6pm. We will have plenty of great food, vendors will be on deck so get your money ready. We will have lots of Great entertainment. So come out and support Family and Freinds of NWI..
